05.27.05 Parking Spaces (Providence, RI)

Invited to participate at PROVFLUX 2005, MPG will present Parking Spaces. For this project MPG will investigate one of the most ubiquitous spaces in the United States, the parking lot. In “parking spaces” we will move through the city looking for empty parking lots to use as a performance space. MPG will collect/record audio and visual material from parking lots and use the parking space as a space to project/broadcast live improvised performances using multimedia projectors, custom real-time software, FM Broadcast and wireless networking. You can check our site or call 386.453.4577 for location updates or come across our performances by chance as we roam the city.
